Power Automate and Copilot Studio: fixed-scope automation, not new software
Most UK and EU SMBs already pay for Microsoft 365, which means Power Automate, Planner and, depending on the plan, Copilot Studio are already sitting in the license. Most of it goes unused, because nobody in-house has the time to build a workflow start to finish. We build that automation, inside the tools you already pay for.
What we build
- Approval workflows in Power Automate, instead of tracking sign-off through an email chain.
- Document flows: filing, routing and deadlines handled automatically instead of by hand.
- Planner automation: tasks, status and reminders, without anyone updating them manually.
- Copilot Studio agents for recurring questions, with a clear handover to a person once it gets complex.
- Power Automate Desktop for older applications with no API, when a cloud flow alone is not enough.
The build is done by our development team, and every delivery is reviewed personally by Merryl DMello before it reaches you. At HP, the same discipline cleared a three-year backlog in five weeks, a 90% reduction in effort, by automating seven manual steps.
What it costs
The entry point is the Time Audit: we measure which approval or Planner workflow costs your team the most minutes, with a decision per row. The Build Sprint then builds exactly that workflow in Power Automate or Copilot Studio, fixed price, in 5 working days. Ongoing Support keeps the system running afterward.
Prerequisite: a Microsoft 365 tenant with the right licence tier. Which licence you need, we check on the first call.
Time Audit €1,490 ($1,700) · Build Sprint €4,900 ($5,570), fixed price, 5 working days, extra day €1,090 ($1,240) · Ongoing Support €490 ($560) or €990 ($1,130) a month, minimum term 3 months · net + VAT or your local tax
The Time Audit is credited 100% against a Build Sprint ordered within 30 days.
Frequently asked questions
What is Power Automate, and is it worth it for a small business?
Power Automate is Microsoft 365's automation service, used to build workflows such as approvals, notifications or document filing without an in-house development team. It becomes worthwhile for a small business as soon as one task repeatedly costs minutes, for example a weekly approval round handled over email.
What is Copilot Studio?
Copilot Studio is Microsoft's tool for building your own chat agents that can read your documents and workflows and answer recurring questions. We use it where an agent can give a first answer and hand over to a person when the question gets complex.
Do we need a new Microsoft licence for Power Automate or Copilot Studio?
Often not: many Microsoft 365 plans already include basic Power Automate functionality. Heavier use, or Copilot Studio itself, can require an add-on licence. We check this against your existing tenant on the first call.

Is DMello Advisory a certified Microsoft partner?
No. DMello Advisory builds automations inside the Microsoft 365 tools you already licence, with the access and permissions your company grants. The qualification behind the work is eighteen years building systems inside Intel, HP, Rackspace, Phoenix Contact and BioNTech, not a partner status.
